Greece leads on doctors per 10,000 at 67.1 per 10,000; New Zealand is last of the 15 shown at 37.7 per 10,000.
Doctors per 10,000 is the cleanest measure of how much medical capacity a country has built; WHO collects it the same way everywhere. It is a count of supply, not a promise of access — a visitor still needs insurance, a registration or a fee to see one — and the tool behind this page shows the UHC coverage index beside it for that reason.
Only observations at or after 2023 are ranked, so 36 of the 41 countries appear; a country whose newest figure is older is absent rather than shown as current. Nurses and hospital beds are on the same tab.
