Only 6 of the 33 digital-nomad visas in this dataset offer a path to permanent residency. The rest are a long tourist permit with a tax note attached: twelve months, sometimes renewable, and no route to staying however many times you renew. That ratio is the single most useful thing to know before planning a move around one.

This is the complete list, not a top ten — there is nothing else to rank. The income figures are the base requirement for a single applicant; bringing a partner or children raises them, usually by a published percentage the visa tool applies for you.
