# Where can you actually see a doctor?

Seychelles leads on physicians / 1,000 at 6.6; Denmark is last of the 15 shown at 4.5.

Cost and access are separate questions and a country can score well on one while failing the other. This ranks the supply side: how many doctors there are per head of population.

It is a national average and says nothing about waiting times, rural coverage or whether you would be entitled to use the public system as a foreign resident — all of which vary enormously and none of which is available as a citable global dataset.

## Check your own numbers

A ranking is a starting point, not an answer — your income, household and destination change the order. The [Healthcare costs](https://geo-parity.com/expenses/?tab=healthcare) runs the same engine against your own figures, and every country above links to its own page.
